AVEPA OBJECTIVES
Avepa is a registered ACNC (Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission) company with the objective of funding scholarships for high academic achieving Australian students of Vietnamese origin, who demonstrate they have a strong desire to contribute to the Australia Community and to take up leadership roles.
Avepa was established in 2014 and over 5 years of operation, funds have been raised to provide more than 30 scholarships -- an average of more than 5 per year -- for Australian students of Vietnamese origin, studying in various Australian universities.
AVEPA PURPOSE
- To provide financial support to selected Australian students of Vietnamese origin in their first year of their university studies.
- To provide at least two mentorship sessions to the scholarship students in each year of their early studies and beyond as appropriate.
- To cooperate with the University from which a student was offered and accepted a place and, if practical the university would contribute up to $2500 to increase the value of the AVEPA scholarship to $5000
